Office Coordinator

Responsible for staffing and coordinating reception desk functions: answering phones, directing guests, sorting mail, maintaining form center, coordinating mailings and ordering office supplies. Maintains current ministry and community resource information for staff and neighborhood residents. Coordinates office operations which includes tenant rentals of office areas and in-kind donation drop-off.  Coordinates family services which include event registration and emergency requests. Also responsible for providing administrative support and/or project coordination for managers, as needed.

Specialized know-how AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of Office Experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, social service or ministry organization
  • Cross-cultural experience necessary
  • Mail Coordination Experience
  • Strong problem solving skills & the ability to resolve conflict quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to function effectively in an environment requiring multi-tasking.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a self-directed environment.
  • Active in a local church
  • Evidence of spiritual maturity, including integrity, humility, and self-discipline
